New reports are linked to your signed-in account. Draft file parsing happens in your browser; reviewed inputs are sent to private storage when you submit for checkout or generation. A temporary draft copy may be held in this browser session to restore your work after checkout. Unpaid checkout snapshots are also stored to support retries. Stripe receives billing information and account references, not your imported business records. Completed reports remain after subscription cancellation unless you request account/data deletion. Contact support@outcomezero.app for deletion requests; payment records may need to be retained for applicable obligations. Export reports you need before requesting deletion.

Where your figures are stored
and who can access them.
Free preview
Your six business inputs are calculated in your browser. The preview does not send those figures to our server. Vercel hosts the website and may process standard request information such as IP address and browser details to deliver and secure it.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics on public pages to count visits, sample views, completed free previews and starts of live checkout. We also count clicks to start the preview, preview starts, and preview failures to understand where the public experience needs improvement. Analytics does not use cookies. Vercel processes request information to produce visitor, device, approximate location and referrer statistics. We do not send business inputs, emails, recovery codes or payment details as analytics event properties, and we remove query strings and fragments from tracked page URLs. Analytics is excluded from account and private report pages. Our tracking respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Blocking analytics does not prevent use of the product. Earlier Deep Scan: purchase and recovery
When you prepare checkout, your browser stores your inputs and private recovery code locally. After you confirm the storage notice, we send the starting business numbers you entered to our server and store the generated report and a Stripe Checkout session identifier in private Vercel Blob storage. This enables payment verification and report recovery. We use a hash of your recovery code as the lookup identifier.
Stripe processes your payment and information you enter at checkout. We do not collect or store your full card details in the Outcome Zero app. Stripe sends payment events to our server. Financial inputs from the stress test are not included in Stripe payment metadata.
Earlier Deep Scan: optional account linking
Optional email-based accounts are managed by Clerk, which processes your sign-in information and uses authentication cookies. Outcome Zero verifies your login on the server. If you link a purchased report, we store a reference under a hashed account identifier in private Vercel storage. The recovery code remains valid. Request account or report deletion through support; these are separate from clearing browser data.
Earlier Deep Scan: decisions and reported results
When you record a paid Deep Scan, we store your decision context, original belief, confidence, numerical assumptions, calculated forecast and measurement date in private Vercel storage. Original forecasts cannot be overwritten. Outcome check-ins are stored as new dated versions, including corrections. The latest version is used for descriptive history. Linking reports to an account allows comparisons across linked decisions, loaded in pages; a fingerprint is not shown until five comparable completed outcomes exist.
Saved working scenarios
When you choose to save a free-preview or sample scenario, its name, baseline and assumptions are stored on this device (up to 100 scenarios). In a purchased report, choosing to save sends the working snapshot to private Vercel storage under that report. Your login or recovery code controls access. Saved snapshots are separate from original forecasts. Scenario backups contain private business figures; exports download to your device. Importing a file previews it locally; only the explicit save-imported-copies action writes those copies to the selected storage location. Clearing browser data does not delete cloud scenarios. Request server deletion through support.
Legacy browser decision journal
Decision comparisons, notes and saved plans stay in your browser's local storage. They are not synchronized to other devices. Anyone with access to your browser profile may be able to see them. Exported journals include your business figures; keep the files private. Clearing site data removes local plans and saved recovery information.
Business Review records and team access
Supported spreadsheets, PDFs, Word DOCX, OpenDocument, and text exports are read in your browser. Extracted text is shown for review; only the reviewed rows are sent when you save. When you confirm Save reviewed import, the mapped and corrected business rows, source filename, sheet, row references, and column mapping are sent to private Vercel storage. The original uploaded file is not stored. These rows can include supplier and customer names, invoice references, expenses, balances, project budgets, and team-level capacity. Avoid unnecessary personal information.
Cash settings, action owners, notes, due dates, reported savings, and supporting evidence are stored with the report. Earlier versions remain stored when you replace data. Backups download to your device and contain private business records. Team access stores verified email addresses, assigned roles, and dated permission changes. The report owner controls these roles; recovery-code holders still have full report access. Assigning an action owner does not send an invitation or email.
Access and retention
The recovery code grants access to your purchased report and allows outcome check-ins. Keep it secret. Server reports currently have no automatic deletion schedule and remain stored for recovery until manually removed. Email support to request deletion or ask about stored information. We verify ownership before acting. Deletion of a report prevents later recovery; transaction records held by Stripe are managed separately.
Outcome Zero does not add advertising trackers or send your figures to an AI model. Vercel and Stripe process data to provide hosting, storage and payments under their own privacy practices.

Hiring plans and spreadsheet imports
The free hiring preview calculates in your browser and is not saved. In a paid report, saving a hiring plan or check-in sends those figures and notes to private report storage. CSV files are parsed in your browser; only reviewed monthly figures are sent when you choose to save them. Original plans and earlier check-in versions are retained. Private exports contain your business information; store and share them carefully. Contact support to request deletion.
Optional historical prediction inputs
When you include monthly history in a paid analysis, its revenue, cash received, cash paid, opening balance, scheduled extra cash movements, and notes are stored with the confirmed input snapshot. Invoice payment estimates use reviewed invoice records. Calculations run in Outcome Zero; business figures are not sent to an external AI provider. The prediction example uses fictional data.
